(“AxiNorth” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with AltaStream Energy Systems Inc. (“AltaStream”) to jointly design a mobile data centre protype for commercial use.

Since 2003, AltaStream has been providing world class solutions to the energy and automation markets. AltaStream’s continuing focus is on providing quality engineering, products and services that deliver effective solutions that exceed client expectations.

AltaStream specializes in application-specific design and packaging for custom projects, which includes modular units that can be converted into a mobile data centre. These portable, self-contained systems have a lower infrastructure and construction cost than traditional data centre installations and are ideal for a growing business requiring flexible computing power with the ability to move the data centre location.

AxiNorth’s Chief Technology Officer, Hector Silva, will be working directly with AltaStream to jointly design initial blueprints for the new prototype. Further development in respect of the project will be subject to the execution of a definitive agreement between AxiNorth and AltaStream.
